If your company or organization has idle funds that you may wish to use at any moment, you may choose to set up corporate demand deposit account and save your idle funds into our account and withdraw them at any moment.

The interest rate for corporate demand deposits is set by the Peoples Bank of China and paid at the rate published on the date of interest settlement. The interest of one period will accrue based upon the rates applicable for that period.

According to the needs of different corporations or organizations, we have prepared four types of corporate demand deposit accounts: basic deposit accounts, general deposit accounts, temporary deposit account and special-purpose deposit account.

A basic deposit account is one that your company or organization may use for day-to-day account transfer settlement and cash receipt & payment. It is the only type of account available for the withdrawal of salaries and bonuses. Each depositor is restricted to one basic deposit account at the bank.

-- If your company needs loans or other settlement needs, you may choose to set up a general deposit account in other banks than the bank where you opens a basic deposit account. You may use the account for transfer settlement or cash payment, but may not make cash withdrawal.

-- If your company or organization is temporary office that needs an account for temporary operations in other places, you may set up a temporary deposit account in our bank. You can use it for transfer settlement or for accepting or paying cash according to the cash management regulations.

-- If your company or organization has special needs for funds, such as funds for capital construction, funds for renovation and upgrading, funds for a special purpose and meriting a special account, you may apply for a special-purpose deposit account in our bank. Please take the certificate for the establishment of the basic deposit account, the registration certificate of the basic deposit account, and one of the following certificates to apply for this account at the JNB branch:the statement from competent authorities approving the project; or the documents required by the bank.
